Grocery Shift Leader

General Purpose:
To provide an atmosphere that promotes outstanding service through outstanding leadership and strong team building skills. Supervise Grocery Department and act as support for the Grocery Manager. To provide customer service in a friendly and professional manner, and to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in handling all inquiries, special orders, and returns. Also, to carry out additional tasks/projects assigned by the Grocery Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Previous knowledge of Natural Foods and Grocery Department operations.
Intermediate math skills.
Able to handle multiple tasks.
Proven leadership and team-building skills.
Able to constructively address performance issues.
Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate others.
Excellent customer service, communication, delegation, and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs throughout any assigned shift.
